In the city of Villa de Leyva there are a lot of fossils. It is no where near the ocean, ,but way back when, many many years ago, it was once part of the ocean. So the people here find a lot of bones, and fossils in the land.
They have on display a Kronosaurus that was found here. It is a sea animal that is about 30-33 feet long.
I put my hand there just to give you an idea how big the fossils are!

This boy was our guide. He was very informative, and knew what he was talking about. I don't think he could have been older then 12!
