Moments in the Car....Again!

We left Anapoima on Sunday around noon. Before you travel anywhere you call a number to find out what the roads are like, and if their are any closers. As it turns out, the road home was blocked by landslides, so we decided to go the long way home. Well, of course everyone was going home the other way, so after sitting and going hardly anywhere for 3 hours, we decided to go back to Anapoima to stay another night, and go home the next day. On our way back to Anapoima we remembered that Monday was a day we were not aloud to use the car we had in Bogotá. So we were trying to make arrangements to have another car brought out to us, and we would drive that car home. Wow, it was SO confusing! When we arrived to Anapoima again it was 6pm. Tia Lucia called the road number again, and found out that the road was open now, so they decided that we would just go the rest of the way home. Tia Lucia was making jokes with us that we could have been hanging out in the pool in Anapoima that whole time, but instead we had been in the car for 6 hours! We got into Bogotá just after 9pm, and home around 9:30. After being in the car for nearly 10 hours we were ready to get out! We were glad to be home safe and sound!!
